Tired of wasting time and money using expensive agencies to fill shifts?
Find out how Aged Care residences are saving time and money finding staff for their shifts.
With continuing pressure from the Federal Government on aged care place funding, the need to reduce costs is greater than ever. Combine this with expensive staffing agency fees to fill critical shifts and life becomes difficult for management and staff.
Emprevo set out to solve these problems and find a way to take the pressure off operators.
The platform was founded by experienced Aged Care industry operators who needed to fill shifts more efficiently and reduce spiralling agency costs. The results have been overwhelming with their agency expenditure significantly reduced.
Emprevo’s mobile-first platform allows managers to fill shifts within minutes.
This results in better utilisation of their own staff (giving staff access to much needed extra work) which in turn improves staff retention rates. The feedback we’ve received from both workers and managers proves that Emprevo is onto something very important for our industry.
“Emprevo is simple and easy to use. It has saved me considerable administrative time on emails and phone calls. By advertising shifts on Emprevo, a wide number of people receive the message of a vacant shift at once – it’s made managing my roster much easier!”
Jamie, Residential Manager – Westgarth Aged Care
At this stage, there are no costs to fill shifts from an operator’s internal staff pool and there are no other costs or contracts.
As Emprevo evolves it is solving many key issues highlighted in the ‘Aged Care Workforce Framework Strategy’ through key partnerships including workforce supply, workforce demand and productivity of the workforce. Established partnerships with key training operators Holmesglen and RMIT will guarantee a high standard in training and exceptional quality of workforce supply.
As well as this we are collaborating with State Government to solve problems with long term unemployment such as working mums, youth, diverse cultures, or over 50’s by helping them transition into employment and to change the perception of a career in aged care.
